The conference is a hallmark event in the nursing community in Singapore and around the region, which provides an excellent platform to rediscover new collaborative opportunities, realign healthcare goals and visions as well as forge new ties within the nursing community.
Over the past three years, the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly challenged our way of life, but it has also brought about windows of opportunities for change in the way we live and work. Not only has the pandemic accelerated the digital adoption to transform and change the way healthcare is being delivered and taught, it has also prompted us to re-thnk our priorities in life, with greater emphasis being placed on active ageing and healthy living. This is why this year's theme – "Fostering Person-Centred Care: Rediscover, Realign, Reconnect" is a timely one, and in tandem with the national healthcare strategy that focuses on proactive health preservation as well as healthcare innovation and collaboration to build a healthy healthcare workforce.
