Programme Outline
This webinar provides practical guidance on recognising and managing hypoglycaemia safely in the home setting. Participants will learn about common causes and risk factors, early and severe warning signs, the 15-15 rule for treating low blood glucose, and what to do when a person cannot swallow or becomes unconscious.
The session will also cover monitoring after treatment, preventing recurrent episodes, caregiver preparedness and when to seek emergency medical assistance. Interactive case scenarios will help participants apply these principles confidently to real-life situations at home.
