Course Description: The course covers the concepts, principles, and practices of clinical preceptorship in nursing. It provides participants with the essential knowledge, skills and attitude for the role of a clinical preceptor for newly recruited nurses and nursing students from pre-registration or pre-enrolment courses. This course aims to prepare and develop nurses for their role in welcoming, integrating, supervising, facilitating and assessing nursing students to the team and place of work. The cost for NHG staff is $239.80.
