Course Description: This short course will be of great benefit to social service professionals who work with clients at risk of suicide and need to provide front line support. It will provide an insight into the local suicide statistics and dispel myths on suicide. It helps participants to gain knowledge and skills to manage suicide risk through firstly identifying risk, assessing risk level and applying the appropriate interim interventions before referring to other key stakeholders.
