Course Description: Nurses know lifestyle change matters, yet talking about it with patients is often hard: resistance, limited time, and conversations that slip into advice-giving. This certification builds the coaching skills to change that. Using Motivational Interviewing, 8 behaviour-change theories and health literacy strategies, participants learn to build rapport, explore barriers and values, and co-create SMART goals and personalised plans that patients follow, leading to registration as an SBHS Health and Wellness Coach.
