Course Description: This course aims to equip nurses to identify risk events, respond according to risk, adhere to implementation procedures, and report risks as per organizational requirements.
Objectives:
1. Identify and report potential risk events across healthcare settings in line with regulatory standards and organisational protocols, fostering a transparent and proactive safety culture.
2. Evaluate internal and external factors influencing risk, including legal, ethical, technological, and systemic challenges, and respond appropriately across clinical and operational domains.
3. Apply and support risk control measures and contribute to the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) approach, aligning responses with organisational priorities and continuous improvement goals.
4. Promote psychological safety and just culture by recognising barriers to reporting and encouraging open communication among staff and leaders.
5. Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and involve patients and caregivers in shared risk identification and mitigation efforts
