Course Description: A 3-day interprofessional course specially designed to equip healthcare professionals caring for advanced chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients with basic supportive and palliative care skills and knowledge to integrate into their practice. Topics include: Living with advanced CKD in the 21st century and the role of renal supportive care, Symptom control, Deprescribing, Nutrition, Psychosocial issues, Care of the dying CKD patient, Serious Illness Conversations and Ethical considerations. Eligible for 12 CPE points upon successful completion of the course.
