Course Description: This course equips healthcare professionals with the knowledge and practical skills to implement and manage effective performance systems.
Objectives:
1. Apply knowledge of department performance management systems to implement performance frameworks and translate strategic blueprints into practical action plans, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and operational workflows.
2. Communicate performance frameworks and role clarity to staff using industry best practices.
3. Conduct gap and root cause analyses using established tools and procedures to identify deficiencies in work processes, enabling informed decision-making and process optimisation.
4. Apply SWOT analysis techniques to develop evidence-based and context-specific recommendations that address process gaps and enhance overall departmental performance.
5. Evaluate departmental performance against KPIs and use findings to guide improvement efforts.
