Course Description: By the end of the course, participants will be able to support policies and systems that help staff build resilience and overcome barriers to effective management of health and well-being, thereby fostering psychologically safe and empowered teams.
Objectives:
1. Apply hot zone mapping techniques to identify and analyse environmental and behavioural risk factors within their workplace.
2. Identify and apply psychological safety and mental wellness first-aid principles, including recognising stress indicators, anticipating disruptions, and utilising organisational and external support systems to prevent burnout.
3. Apply basic counselling and coaching techniques to support colleagues in managing stress, practising effective self-care, and enhancing resilience in daily work activities.
4. Implement second-victim peer support frameworks and holistic wellness strategies to foster a psychologically safe team environment, influence positive well-being practices, and strengthen organisational capacity for mental wellness.
