Course Description: The basic psychiatric workshop aims to provide fundamental concepts in order for nursing staff working in common clinical settings to effectively handle common psychiatric disorders. Topics covered include alcohol withdrawal, management of aggressive behaviour, mood disorder - depression & bipolar, use of suicide caution chart, and delirium versus depressive disorders.
