Course Description: This course focuses on basic medical and nursing aspects of ophthalmology with practical demonstrations on eye examination techniques. It aims to educate participants on the common eye conditions, treatment, management and patient education. To provide participants with the basic ophthalmic knowledge necessary to meet the healthcare needs of patients with a variety of ophthalmic disorders enabling them to function as an effective member in the ophthalmic team, contributing towards optimal care of patients.
