Course Description: ANCHOR Basic Course equips healthcare support staff with essential skills for elderly care. Participants learn age-appropriate nursing, preventing functional decline, and managing falls, constipation, and urinary issues. The course covers walking aids, safe feeding for dysphagia patients, and distinguishing dementia from delirium. It emphasises collaborative nurse-CSA roles in addressing older adults' nutritional needs and delivering person-centred care for dementia patients with BPSD. Course fee is $185.30 for NHG participant.
